Spring is here and that makes me excited to step-up my kitchen game. I have always loved to cook and entertain, and as a twenty-something, it has taken me some time to slowly start to build up some of my favorite kitchen pieces. I didn’t register for wedding gifts, as many people do when they are planning to get married, instead, we chose to have a honeymoon fund that our friends and family could donate to.
I missed out on instantly acquiring all of the dreamy flatware, cutlery, and kitchen gadgets that so many women receive as gifts leading up to their wedding day. So instead, I have had to start slow and acquire what I can, when I can, to build up my dream kitchen. I am a woman who loves all things neutral, so it may come as no surprise that my kitchen decor and style is filled with neutral decor as well.
I have rounded up my five very favorite must-have items in my kitchen right now. They transition perfectly from winter to spring and are some of my favorites to entertain with.
I am excited to share a very small sneak peek into our new home today, and more specifically, a tiny little corner of our living room. We are still getting settled after moving into our home a little less than two months ago, but I didn’t want that to stop me from sharing a few of our new pieces as we begin to makeover our space. I have snapped a few photos below of our neutral decor style in our living room!
One of the best ways to kickoff your summer style is to stock up on neutral staples that you can wear time and time again all season long! As I looked through my closet this weekend, I tried to decide what staple pieces I could add to wear for different events, parties, and trips this summer. I am a neutral gal and I have always been drawn to whites, grays, blues, light hues, and everyone’s favorite color – black.
Even though my home is styled in neutral tones throughout, my closet doesn’t appear to reflect my deep love for what most consider “boring” colors. I have rounded up a few beautiful trends that are fresh and funky and seem to be on every fashionista’s Instagram, Pinterest, and blog right now.
