Spring is here and that makes me excited to step-up my kitchen game. I have always loved to cook and entertain, and as a twenty-something, it has taken me some time to slowly start to build up some of my favorite kitchen pieces. I didn’t register for wedding gifts, as many people do when they are planning to get married, instead, we chose to have a honeymoon fund that our friends and family could donate to.
I missed out on instantly acquiring all of the dreamy flatware, cutlery, and kitchen gadgets that so many women receive as gifts leading up to their wedding day. So instead, I have had to start slow and acquire what I can, when I can, to build up my dream kitchen. I am a woman who loves all things neutral, so it may come as no surprise that my kitchen decor and style is filled with neutral decor as well.
I have rounded up my five very favorite must-have items in my kitchen right now. They transition perfectly from winter to spring and are some of my favorites to entertain with.
The Linea Carta plates are some of my very favorite and I have talked about them before in this post. Diva Pyari is a magnificent artist who lives in the Bay Area and she created these stunning plates, that you can buy from A to Z! My second obsession right now are my new measuring cups because of their hefty weight and shape. These definitely aren’t light, but I have always liked to cook with heavy cookware, so I really enjoy their weight, texture, and design. The marble and wooden cheeseboard with built-in cheese knife storage is such a beautiful and neutral staple to keep in the kitchen.
These dessert dishes are the perfect neutral dinnerware for a dinner party or gathering. I love their small shape and the glass look can match any party theme. I really love the feel of our new wicker glassware set. It’s the perfect style of wicker that doesn’t necessarily scream vintage or old, but more or less a neutral beachy vibe.
The gorgeous neutral vase holding my cooking utensils is very special to me because it was made by mother. I am so impressed with her pottery and I love that every time I reach for something to cook a meal with, I am reminded of her and her love for cooking. She continues to inspire me to be creative with my recipes!
The grey dish towel and dark grey oven mitt continue to add a neutral feel to my kitchen as well. I am also in love with our kitchen’s grey quartz counter top, and the gorgeous white and grey tiled back splash.
I hope you have enjoyed my current kitchen must-have’s, and with a neutral decor theme, most of these items could find a home in any kitchen!
